Immediate Openings for Caregivers
Preferred Care at Home of North Westchester & Putnam is recruiting caregivers to join our team. We provide care to older adults in the comfort of their own home.
Many seniors are home alone feeling isolated. Many do not have family or friends nearby who can help them with every day tasks. Use your certification to care for seniors in our community. Certification is preferred but not required for all positions.
Some of the tasks required of a Caregiver:
- Companionship - Friendship
- Medication reminders
- Grooming assistance
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Light housekeeping, general clean-up, and laundry
- Shopping and errands
- Transport and escort to doctor appointments, etc.
- Transfers - Bed / Wheelchair

Qualifications:
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Work Location: Multiple Locations in Westchester and Putnam County
