**Inventory Counter**
Purchasing Saint John, Indiana Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Great news! Schillings is currently looking for an Inventory Counter at our St. John/Cedar Lake IN location. We offer competitive pay and opportunities for advancement. This position will be part-time, up to 29 hours per week. One must be available to work Saturdays. No nights or Sundays.
Responsibilities:
* Manage current inventory counts including special order and stock items.
* Create and maintain updated labels
* Identify old and/or damaged products
* Create and update maps with locations
* Understand and correct location codes
* Update existing location signage
* Daily/Weekly/Monthly maintenance and reports
* Product knowledge
* Resolve issues, if they arise
* Customer Service
* Shelf Facing & Stocking
* Assist the Hardware and Purchasing employees as needed
* Assist with Receiving Duties
* *Suggestions for improvement, innovation*
Required Skills:
* Detail oriented, highly organized and exhibit professionalism
* Multi-tasking and prioritization skills necessary
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Ability to organize and coordinate projects
* Excellent customer service skills
* Ability to adapt to change quickly
* Strong interpersonal skills and must be a team player
* Ability to lift over 50 pounds
* Willingness to learn an Order Picker
* Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
