We are actively hiring an Operational Language Analyst - (Somali, Chinese, Russian, and Farsi, level 2-4 to join our Defense and Homeland Security Division working in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, the Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.
Description: Provide language services to a Government Agency
Education: Preferably Bachelor s degree or higher
Qualifications:
Write and speak clearly and coherently in Target Language and English
Translate or interpret conversations
Maintain the integrity and meaning of the material through translations
Translate general and technical material to and from Chinese (Mandarin), Somali, Russian, Farsi, and English
Possess a thorough understanding of IC transliteration guidelines and directives
Quickly scan and accurately translate a large amount of material
Provide quality translations in the time allotted
Read a variety of unfamiliar subjects, relate ideas and make inferences, and rarely misunderstand the intent of the writer
Requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen
Possess a TS/SCI clearance w/CI Polygraph
Score DLPT Level 3 or higher in Reading/Writing/Speaking/Listening in Target Language and English
Successfully clear government agencies security processing
4-10 years of SIGINT experience (excluding training time)
