Snowflake Engineer (Finance) | About You

As a Snowflake Engineer (Finance), you are responsible for creating robust data pipelines and curating comprehensive data sets. You will play a crucial role in enhancing financial analytics capabilities by ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and available for critical decision-making processes. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance with data governance standards.


Snowflake Engineer (Finance) | Day-to-Day

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and SQL to support financial analytics.
  • Collaborate with insight architects and the finance team to understand data requirements and deliver curated data sets.
  • Implement and optimize data visualization solutions using Tableau, creating dashboards and reports to support financial decision-making.
  • Manage and monitor data workflows using Airflow, ensuring timely and accurate data processing.
  • Integrate data from various sources using HVR (Fivetran) to ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of data systems.


Snowflake Engineer (Finance) | Skills & Experience

  • 7 + years of experience in data pipeline development and data visualization, with proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of finance functions and financial data analysis, with experience supporting finance teams.
  • Familiarity with data engineering best practices and tools such as Airflow for workflow management.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks for big data processing and HVR (Fivetran) for data integration.
  • Exposure to AnaPlan for business planning and performance management and Salesforce for customer relationship management is a bonus.
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and SAP FICO for financial accounting and controlling is highly preferred.
