M&H Valve is seeking Janitors in Anniston Alabama.
Summary:
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the entire facility, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained, and complying with all safety and health regulations.

Pay: $21.08 per hour

General Duties and Responsibilities

- Assists supervisors and managers in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Wears appropriate PPE which may include fall protection, respiratory protection, hearing protection, foot, hand, head and eye protection.
- Uses proper lifting and ergo techniques.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Performs general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning and vacuuming floors to include office areas, break areas, conference areas, entry/exits ways, hallways, smoking areas and all restrooms
- Maintain and stock restroom facilities with necessary supplies
- Remove trash and recycling from the facility, and transport to designated areas for disposal
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails

- Ensure all lights are on/off and appropriate doors are locked when leaving an area.
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuum cleaners, in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to obtain license for and operate power industrial trucks and street sweepers as needed.
- Notify management of any safety hazards or maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
