**A Day In The Life Of A Warehouse Team Member**
**WAREHOUSE WORKER**
* Deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehouse department, including but not limited to number of orders & items picked, order accuracy, order turnaround times, and safety.
* Inspect products damage and accuracy any time you are handling our products.
* Clean and maintain order in warehouse areas.
* Other warehouse duties as required.
* Other duties as assigned.
Receiving/Restocking:
* Unload shipments in a safe and timely manner.
* Perform quality assurance (QA) on all products you receive. Ensure all products received meet Huish Outdoors's quality standards.
* Put received product into correct inventory locations.
* Repackage, relabel and put returns into correct inventory locations.
* Restocking primary locations from overstock location
Picking:
* Walk warehouse to pick items for orders for shipment, and verify all orders for accuracy.
* Inspect products you pick. Report quality issues if/when discovered.
Packing:
* Pack orders. Verify the accuracy the orders picked, and ensure what we ship matches the order.
* Ensure products are packed in such a way to avoid damage in transit.
* Inspect products and packaging before shipment to assess quality.
* Always report quality issues/damaged product or packaging when discovered.

**Qualifications For A Warehouse Team Member**
* High school diploma or GED
* Basic computer skills / Email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Google suite
* Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English.
* A basic understanding of warehouse management systems
* Proficient knowledge of the Huish Outdoors product line.
* Strong organization and prioritization abilities; detail oriented, safety and control minded.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
* Forklift operating experience helpful, but not required.
* Available and willing to work overtime weekends and evenings as needed--overtime may be required.
**Work Schedule**
The full-time Warehouse Team Members typically works **Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM**. With overtime on weekends and evenings when things get busy and customers are going crazy for our products.
