We are seeking an Equipment Operator for assignment in Ontario, Oregon. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of public works tasks in the construction, maintenance and repair of public streets and right-of-ways. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - - This position has a pay rate of $19/hr - - Responsibilities - Operate all types of public works equipment: loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, snow plows, etc. - Inspect, repair, and maintain public streets and rights-of-way, including street signs, pavement markings, trees, and community relation projects- Produce a variety of records and reports relating to these activities- Perform required labor involved in the construction and maintenance of pavement cutting, crack sealing, base repair, sidewalks, curb, gutter, and wheelchair ramps repair, tree removal, and snow removal- Operate, maintain and perform minor repair to light and heavy equipment (backhoe, loader, chainsaws, welders, etc.)- Perform routine inspection an...Equipment Operator, Equipment, Operator, Commercial Driver, Manufacturing, Repair, Maintenance
