**Position: Procurement Specialist - Chicago, IL**

**Executive Summary:** This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial individual with expertise in Procurement and implementation experience. It offers an opportunity to develop and expand our Procurement services in North America, supported by a professional team. You will report to the Managing Director, working closely with clients to identify pain points and design customized solutions. The role includes managing local delivery professionals and collaborating with our team for seamless execution.


**Roles and Responsibilities:**


+ **Grow Procurement Vertical:**


+ Build and scale Procurement Consulting & Outsourcing capabilities.


+ Develop strategic sourcing, purchase-to-pay (P2P) services, and category management knowledge.


+ Conduct training for delivery, sales, and marketing teams.


+ Create high-impact case studies.


+ **Improve Visibility:**


+ Represent the organization at industry events.


+ Position the firm as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.


+ Author articles and participate in webinars and podcasts.


+ **Business Development:**


+ Lead end-to-end sales cycles and acquire new customers.


+ Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.


+ Provide market updates to leadership.


+ **Solution Delivery:**


+ Translate client requirements into customized solutions.


+ Deliver results using applications like Coupa, Oracle, SAP Ariba, etc.


+ Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.


+ Engage with current customers for opportunity sizing and progress reviews.


**Key Skills:**


+ In-depth understanding of Procurement Consulting & Outsourcing solutions.


+ Industry experience in sectors such as Life Sciences, Consumer Electronics, Food & Beverage, etc.


+ Functional expertise in Procurement Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation.


+ Proven track record in delivering Procurement solutions and consulting.


+ Proficiency in tools like Coupa, Oracle, SAP Ariba.


+ Strong networking, presentation, and negotiation skills.


+ Ability to work in a multicultural global environment.


+ Confident communication at the C-level.


**Education & Experience:**


+ Bachelor's in Engineering/Finance.


+ MBA (Finance/Operations Management) / APICS certification preferred.


+ 6-8 years of experience post-MBA, with 2-3 years in the healthcare industry as a plus.
