Class A Delivery Driver Job Details Job Location Corporate - Anaheim, CA Position Type Full Time Description **Straub Distributing Company/Budweiser - Anaheim, CA**
Position delivers beverage products to local retail customers in Orange County and the western part of Riverside County driving a truck that requires a Class A license to operate.
$21.43 - $23.43 per hour base wage plus daily commission (after 480 hour probationary period), with most drivers earning more with commissions and overtime pay. Starting probationary pay is determined by experience.
A 4-day week with 10 hours of scheduled work, Tuesday Friday. (that's 52 three day weekends)
Company pays over $16,000 per year for medical benefits that cover the employee, spouse and dependents. The employees share is zero.
Company pays up to $7,696.00 per year per full time employee to pension.
Employee keeps more of the money earned with this generous compensation package.
Qualifications **Class A Delivery Driver Minimum requirements**
* **Motivated, hardworking and responsible**
* Must be able to write, communicate, and read English
* Must be able to perform basic math: add and subtract decimals and whole numbers
* Valid Class A drivers license with a good driving record
**Class A Delivery Driver Abilities required**
* Must establish positive working relationships with key contacts at each account
* Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
* Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and reach with both hands and arms repetitively throughout the day
* Must be able to see closely (clear vision at 20 inches or less), have peripheral vision, and depth perception
* Must be able to lift 20 to 45 pounds repetitively, and occasionally kegs weighing up to 165 pounds throughout the workday.
* Must be willing to adapt to various environments including but not limited to: Extreme cold (coolers), Grocery Stores, and enclosed spaces
