Growing together.As the Pharmacy Technician Home Delivery , you will be asked to shadow to demonstratewhat right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.If you reside in Illinois or Iowa, you ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm CSTPrimary Responsibilities:Prescription requestsEntry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvementsContribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team contentCreation/routing of pharmacy orders through receiptDemonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient callsPrep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer systemMay contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery detailsApplies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activitiesDemonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own functionActs as a technical resource to others in own functionProactively identifies solutions to non-standard requestsSolves moderately complex problems on ownWorks with team to solve complex problemsPlans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectivesProvide an exceptional customer experience with every interactionProvide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assignedExtensive work experience within own functionWork is frequently completed without established proceduresWorks independentlyMay coordinate others activitiesYou ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED (or higher)Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB)1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacyReside in Illinois or IowaPreferred Qualifications:Previous Health Care ExperienceCall-center or telephonic work*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group s Telecommuter Policy.At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
