Now hiring for Assembler. Spherion of Woodstock Connecticut currently has Assembler opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Assembler will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The Assembler will support our customers for assembling components or parts of a product using various tools, equipment, and machinery. Mon thru Fri. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, or work instructions.
Assemble parts or components of products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Inspect parts for defects or imperfections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Test finished products to ensure they meet specifications and performance requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on assembly equipment as needed.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and practices.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in assembly work or related field preferred.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
