Job Description:This position is being announced under FEMA s Cadre of On-call Response/Recovery Employee (CORE) Program. This is a temporary appointment in the Excepted Service, not to exceed 2 years, with the option to extend based on workload and funding availability.
[ads1]Job Responsibilities:
Managing moves and installations of IT equipment to assure coordination of IT support and customer service.
Providing day-to day work that involves IT application systems activities of a procedural nature.
Providing advanced system troubleshooting, system management, and support services.
Collaborating with network specialists, applications developers, system administrators, and security specialists to prevent recurring problems.
Providing diagnoses and resolving complex problems in response to customer reported incidents.
Job Requirements:
You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this position.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
Selective service registration is required for males born after 12/31/59.
You must successfully pass a background investigation.
Travel will be required.
