Job Summary: Responsible for financial reporting and US tax compliance. Report to CFO and provide required document to Finance team of headquarter in Taiwan.
Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly end closing in ERP system
- Filing all the tax, including CIT and other state/Fed tax
- Compliance with local regulation
- Contact local tax authorities and CPA firms
- Prepare annual audit of financial statement
- Reporting to Headquarter for group consolidation and management purpose
- Special projects, as assigned
- Budget and expenses management
- Cash management
Qualifications
- Five years' work experience in an accounting and controller position is required
- Prior experience in US tax is preferred
- Solid understanding of cost accounting fundamentals and tax practices
- Knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRSs is preferred
- Prior Accounting software experience (SAP software preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formatting and linking spreadsheets) and a familiarity with computers as to effectively utilize multiple programs and applications
- Integrity and trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Expectation to multitask job duties/responsibilities
- Desire to learn, take on incremental responsibility, and work in a team atmosphere is essential
- BA degree in Accounting preferred
