Area Sales Manager - California / Nevada - Full Time - United States **Location:** **The exact location of this position can be anywhere in the assigned territory in California or Nevada. The person in this role will work primarily from home or be traveling to customer sites or Sulzer offices and sites as needed.** Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Area Sales Manager - California / Nevada to help us take Sales to the next level. The Area Sales Manager ser v es as a central point of communication betw ee n Sulzer and its Cu st o m ers . They are re sp o n sib le f o r converting sales leads into orders. The ASM must work closely with the tendering team by providing clear scopes, market pricing, competitor information and customer feedback to increase the accuracy and competitiveness of proposals. * Develop, maintain skills, & procedures required for generating the highest quality proposals
* Support operations quality improvements
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or a demonstrated history of industry success
* More than 5 years professional experience in commercial/technical sales or engineering
* In-depth knowledge of turbomachinery and experience with applicable equipment
* Must be able to read, understand and interpret technical, commercial and bid documents
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
* Live in and/or travel within the territory frequently

* Understanding of basic financial concepts
