Onboarding Manager
Whippany, NJ

As a Barclays Onboarding Manager, you will be accountable for all activity relating to the on-boarding of clients on behalf of the Barclays trading entities. This is an exciting opportunity to be ensuring clients are provided with an efficient, timely on-boarding process whilst delivering a best-in-class service to both internal and external stakeholders throughout the on-boarding process.

Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. We've helped millions of individuals and businesses thrive, creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted. An important and growing presence in the USA, we offer careers providing endless opportunity.

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, 'anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

What will you be doing?
Leading and coordinating the on-boarding and account opening process seamlessly for the client from start to finish
Being accountable for the collation of client documentation
Co-ordinating KYC and account opening documentation and adopting a right-first-time approach to avoid multiple queries
Completing all required activity for their aligned client base and ensuring client data is managed sensitively in line with company policies and procedures
Ensuring all client documentation is handled and filed appropriately in line with Barclays electronic data storage policies
Possessing organizational skills and controls in order to provide regular, timely progress updates to both internal and external stakeholders, in both written and verbal formats
Ensuring the impact on the customer's "Business as Usual" activities are minimised during the course of the on-boarding by using evaluative judgements
Working closely with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure accounts, KYC and products are opened within the bespoke agreed timescales

What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
One or more years of KYC/AML and account opening experience in Financial Services
Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act ("BSA"), Patriot Act, CIP, and FinCEN CDD Rule requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Skills that will help you in the role:
CAMS Certification or other related AML Certifications
Exceptional relationship/time management and social skills
Excellent written, analytical, problem-solving & investigative abilities
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

Where will you be working?

Our next-generation workplace in Whippany allows talented, passionate, down-to-earth colleagues to connect daily. With state-of-the-art work facilities and many added features like pool tables, cafs and a gym - it's a place you can call home. Our office is minutes away from Morristown, known for its rich history and lively modern spirit. With bustling Manhattan easily accessible and a picturesque landscape here on the doorstep, Whippany really does offer the best of both worlds.
