Job Details

Receive incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders or packing lists, maintain accurate inventory records by tracking the movement of materials in and out of the facility, this includes updating computerized inventory systems and conducting physical inventory counts as needed, organize and store materials in designated locations within the warehouse or facility. They may use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move heavy or bulky items to their appropriate storage areas, fulfill orders by retrieving materials from storage areas and preparing them for shipment. This involves picking items from shelves or bins, packing them securely for transport, and labeling packages with shipping information, prepare shipments for outgoing delivery by packaging items securely, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers for pickup or delivery, inspect materials for damage or defects before they are stored or shipped, ensuring that only high-quality products are sent to customers or used in production, follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. High school diploma or equivalent. Veterans are encouraged to apply. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Prior experience in food services preferred but not required. Previous experience in packing or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work well in a team environment. Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory. Physical ability to perform job functions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
