Our client in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an Entry Level Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting the operation of the manufacturing line while ensuring the highest quality is being manufactured for their clients.
Job Title: Production Technician- Surface Mount Technician
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY
Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
What s the Job?
- Supervising the control processes, performing various tests on products, writing up reports, diagnosing and resolving problems with products, methods and equipment
- Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management & workers
- Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible if issues arise
- Analyzing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations when needed
- Implementing preventative maintenance methods and establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers
What s Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in related field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills
- Capable of working independently to a production schedule
