As part of our ongoing expansion in North America, we seek a motivated Finance Accountant/Analyst to join our team.


Position Summary

The Finance Accountant/Analyst works very closely with the VP Controller, as well as the overall business in the development and delivery of financial analytics, and the support of critical business strategies and decision making. They are responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with finance-related policies, procedures, controls and regulations such as tax filing and financial reporting. The Financial Accountant/Analyst is responsible for providing strategic financial support to the President of North America of OrganOx, Inc. and will be expected to influence the business with fact based financial data on all matters.

Listed below are the key responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally inclusive, and the person will be expected to complete additional tasks reasonably requested.


Major Responsibilities

Under direction from the VP, Controller North America, the Financial Accountant/ Analyst United States will be responsible for:

Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing trends and assessing company/department performance against plan/forecast.

Ensure tax compliance for both direct and indirect Federal and State tax reporting and submission.

Assist in development, implementation and testing of accounting policies and SOX controls.

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with accounting policies and controls relating to tax and financial reporting standards.

Research technical accounting matters in coordination with VP, Controller.

Support and develop projects which improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization in its mission.

Develop/support project plans and budgets and track actual costs to ensure success of strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company s status and financial forecasts.



Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting or related business experience required, preferably in medical device or medical technology.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor s degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as a Master s/MBA, CPA or CMA is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations is preferred.
  • Experience with rapidly growing organizations and start-ups preferred.
  • Experience with valuation and analysis is preferred.
  • The ability to use detailed financial analyses and high-level pattern recognition to drive performance is required.
  • The ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and build support across all levels of the organization is required.
  • The ability to develop analytics to drive rapid, but fact-based decision-making with imperfect data.
  • Proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, XLOOKUP functions) and Power BI is required.
  • Right to work in the USA required.


Other Qualifications

  • Travel: May need to travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The position may require sitting for significant periods of the day while working on a computer.
  • Work Environment: This position is onsite at OrganOx, Inc. headquartered in Madison, NJ.
