Environmental Field Technician


Job Details

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Small vessel operation
Skilled equipment operations including but not limited to forklift, pump operations, hand tools (Hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and gas powered) and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders and back hoes).
Welding and cutting
Oil Spill response
Deploying, retrieval, and processing of sorbent materials
Boom deployment and retrieval
Boom and fender maintenance
Driving/positioning company vehicles
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have valid driver license, valid car insurance and submit driving record for the past three years
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card
Ability to work in all weather conditions; rain, sleet, storm, snow, heat, etc.
Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
24hour and 7 day a week availability based upon project or emergency response needs

Required Experience:
1-3 years experience in the maritime industry or construction industry
First/Aid CPR
HAZWOPER
Current Passport
Boaters Card (Washington state boater s card)
USCG License
