KRM Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee our construction projects. As Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of Carpenters and helping to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. This position is based in Chestertown, Maryland and will work on various job sites throughout the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee the construction project, including supervising a team of Carpenters

* Monitor the progress of the project and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines and budget constraints

* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all construction workers

* Review project plans and specifications, and collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues or conflicts

* This is a working Supervisory position, so you will also complete carpentry tasks, operate an assortment of carpentry tools, prepare job sites, dig trenches, set braces, and clean debris

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar role

* Excellent leadership and communication skills

* Knowledge of Residential and Commercial construction

* Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes

* Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

* Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites

* Ability to operate hand and power tools of all types

* Use measuring tools

* Be able to work outside in all types of weather

* Be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a consistence basis
