TRA Sterile Processing Technician

Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards: The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all medical equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to industry standards and protocols.
Inventory management: The Technician will be responsible for keeping track of inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed, and organizing and restocking supplies in designated areas.
Sterilization procedures: The Technician will be responsible for properly following sterilization procedures, including decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of medical equipment and instruments.
Quality control: The Technician will be responsible for performing quality control checks to ensure that all equipment and instruments are functioning properly and meet safety standards.
Equipment maintenance: The Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on equipment and instruments to ensure they are functioning properly and can be used safely.
Attention to detail: It is the responsibility of the Technician to have a keen eye for detail and ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for use.
Record-keeping: The Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all sterilization procedures, inventory levels, and maintenance checks.
Teamwork: The Technician will work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that all equipment and instruments are available and in proper condition for patient care.
Adherence to regulations: The Technician will be responsible for following all relevant regulations and guidelines, including OSHA and FDA regulations, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Continuous learning: The Technician will be responsible for staying updated on new techniques, technologies, and industry standards to provide the highest level of care to patients.
