This Sterile Supply Transporter will be responsible for:Transporting supplies and equipment from Sterile Processing Department to appropriate departments within the Hospital in accordance with established safety policies. Loading and unloading, sterilization and assembly of tools to the appropriate carts. Utilizing proper body mechanics training in all transport activities. Demonstrating efficiency and productivity in transporting necessary equipment in a timely and appropriate manner. Transporting soiled instruments from the Clinics to the Sterile Processing Department within the Hospital. Delivering sterile instruments from the sterile Processing Department to the Clinic locations within the hospital. Putting away supplies and sterile trays in the appropriate locations. Documenting daily operational checks and records for all sterilization equipment. Performing routine scanning of the instrumentation and ensuring accurate locations in the SPM database.
