Description

A maintenance rebuild technician is responsible for repairing and refurbishing various equipment and machinery used in production processes. They perform tasks such as disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, replacing, and reassembling parts of glue pots, pumps, and other machinery items. They also test the functionality and performance of the rebuilt equipment and ensure they meet the quality standards and specifications. A maintenance rebuild technician should have technical skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Disassemble, inspect, and repair glue pots, pumps, and other machinery items used in production

* Replace or refurbish worn or damaged parts and components

* Test and calibrate rebuilt machinery items to ensure proper functionality and performance

* Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools

* Follow safety procedures and quality standards

Requirements

* Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components

* Skill in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and testing equipment

* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and schematics

* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems and perform preventive maintenance

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to follow safety rules and procedures
