Uprite Construction is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee, manage, and direct all phases of our construction projects in Gilroy, CA. As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly, projects are completed efficiently, and the highest quality standards are maintained. You will collaborate closely with our Project Managers to layout job sites, manage day-to-day field activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, superior leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure timely project delivery.


What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety regulations.
  • Direct and manage construction teams from project inception to completion.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and resolve on-site issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers for seamless project coordination.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Maintain and submit all required documentation and reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects meet the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, ensuring resources and manpower are available and allocated appropriately.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues and adjusting schedules as necessary.
  • Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure open communication throughout the construction project.
  • Comply with all local legal requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Resolve on-site issues and emergencies promptly, minimizing project disruptions.

  • Ability to present a comprehensive project list along with the resume.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline.
