An Offshore O&G Operator is looking for a Measurement Technician II to support their Gulf of Mexico Measurement team. This role is an ongoing contract role with a 14 on/14 off work schedule on a dedicated asset with crew change out of Houma, Louisiana.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform as an individual contributor responsible for one or more assets
- Understand and follow regulatory requirements for custody transfer meters
- Understand and follow contractual requirements for production allocation meters
- Manage regulatory and contractual compliance obligations
- Follow Company Standard Measurement Procedures, Industry standards and equipment specific procedures.
- Traditional Measurement Equipment Calibrations
- Complete necessary Calibration Reports
- Oil and Gas Sample Collection, Shipping, Tracking, and analysis
- Measurement equipment repair, refurbishment, or replacement
- Install, maintain, and repair gas and liquid samplers
Required qualifications:
-2-5 years of experience as a Measurement Technician
-Understanding of Oil and Gas flow computer setup and use
-Basic understanding of the following equipment:
- C6+ Gas Chromatographs
- Multiphase Meters
- Ultrasonic Meters
- Mass Thermal Meters
- Coriolis Meters
Preferred:
-Certified as Shell Proficient
