As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will develop strategic procurement solutions and complete day to day tactical purchasing functions for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of supply chain operations, driving organizational and policy change to enhance Blue Origin's bottom-line.

Our Supply Chain Procurement Manager will be responsible for Statement of Work (SOW) Subcontractors (aka SOW Consultants) and Professional Services as well as the category plan development, supply base evaluation, business case development, and risk/opportunity identification and handling.

They will develop, mentor, coach, and engage the Blue Origin Supply Chain buyers and subcontracts administrators. They will foster proper engagement with the program, functional teams and facilitate communication of requirements and status to program and business area stakeholders.

This leader will be competent in Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies, and initiatives, especially in regard to SOW Subcontractors, Professional Services, and related commodities.

Key Skills and Experience:

Strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written skills, and solid communication skills. Experience preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal, performing cost analysis in support of proposals, and have developed negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations.Manage the team that places contracts/ purchase orders of varying complexity in accordance with all regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.Requires technical leadership competencies to form strategies to construct various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.Supports the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of production materials that are on time, within budget and meet technical performance requirements.Possess attributes to facilitate success in this role include influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Sciences, or related industry experience.Experience with SOW Subcontractors, subcontracting, Professional Services and related services of varying degrees of technical and contractual complexityComprehensive knowledge in constructing & negotiating SOW, understanding key commercial terms & conditions & administration of contracts with a wide Supplier populationStrong understanding of Master Professional Services AgreementsDemonstrated ability to work with varying stakeholders, including Legal, Finance and Supply Chain personnelSignificant understanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitionsExperienced knowledge / compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Experienced knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)Experience with most Contract Types (Firm-Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus)Experience in assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)Experienced supporting DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) events.Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metricsInterprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.Must have top notch people and communication skills.Working understanding of AS9100 standards.Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications, I.P. and data rights.Basic understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial information.An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically and expedientlyHighly analytical and critical thinkerMaintains passion for solving problems from end-to-endExperience in engaging with and influencing leadership teamsStrong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metricsProven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workloadTrack record of working in an ambiguous environment and ability to define processes that can scaleAdept at working with different systems and making recommendations on improvements for both systems and processesAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:
