ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivers an overall professional first impression to Churchill Downs Incorporated's visitors and customers.This includes being welcoming to both internal and external customers.
  • Greets visitors, determines the nature and purpose of visit, and directs/escorts them to specific destinations.Maintains a daily log of all visitors and create badges for all visitors on a daily basis.
  • Monitors security surveillance and maintains security control by following company procedures.
  • Accepts and routes all incoming packages (FEDEX, UPS, USPS, etc.). Sorts and places mail in appropriate mailboxes.
  • Coordinates visitor management software. (i.e., registers guests, issues visitor badges, tracks packages, etc.)
  • Schedule interviews and place appointments on calendars as appropriate.
  • Schedules conference rooms as appropriate.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions as requested.
  • May assist with Team Member Events.
  • Support any special projects as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to cultivate working relationships throughout the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
