Bilingual Purchasing Analyst
Job Details
Responsibilities
:
Responsible for purchasing materials and goods from overseas suppliers according to standard firm policies and procedures
Prepare and create Purchase orders making sure to verify specifications and details
Update and maintain pricing histories and review production scheduling to maintain efficiency
Work with vendors to negotiate volume, price and production specifications
Process vendor samples for production and trial needs
Facilitate all stages and process regarding project and product development
Collaborate and interact with multiple departments including production, quality control, engineering, planning and supply chain
Communicate daily with overseas suppliers in China and Taiwan and their operations
Utilize ERP system and database to enter, save and retrieve product details
Analyze market trends and formulate purchasing strategies
Requirements:
Strong Interpersonal, Analytical, Organizational and Communication skills
Minimum 3-5 years of Purchasing experience from an industrial manufacturing background
Ability to understand raw material applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office, ERP and Inventory systems
Read and interpret engineering drawings (2D and 3D)
Familiarity with Import/Export Procedures from overseas suppliers
Bilingual: English & Mandarin Chinese verbal and written
Project Management skills preferred
