Wilkes University invites applicants for a Print & Mail Associate in the Print & Mail Services department within Business Operations. Print & Mail Services provides the University community with timely and accurate processing of all mail and packages, as well as high quality print production services. The successful candidate is responsible for providing regular customer service at the department pick-up window and supporting daily tasks for print job completion, outgoing mail, and mail/package retrieval. The Print & Mail Associate will teach students the process to pick-up their mail and packages; assist students and employees in preparing, packaging, labeling, and mailing of packages and US mail; look up tracking details for missing or delayed packages; retrieving finished print jobs for employees; and, if needed, work with the courier to rectify misdelivered packages. The candidate will regularly assist with all printing functions, including: reviewing department print requests and setting the request to run the most efficient way on the printer; sending jobs to the printer in accordance with priority and efficiency; and breaking down bulk mail into postal trays. The candidate will also provide assistance with print finishing, which includes: setting jobs up on the cutter; completing any folding, plastic coil binding, staple binding, tabbing, and envelope stuffing.

This position is 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6pm. A valid PA Driver's License is required, as the position will serve as occasional support to the university Mailroom Clerk. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a printing environment. An associate's degree in a technical area such as graphics, media design, or printing is preferred but not required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
