Electronic and Mechanical Assemblers join parts & wires together to make electrical products and mechanical assemblies. Assemblers assume responsibility for the manufacture of product and may do some or all of the following: * Follow assembly instructions; * Choose the correct component and amount of each component needed; * Wire components or sub-assemblies; * Punch or drill holes in the parts to be assembled; * Solder the parts to the circuit board by and using a soldering machine; * Check that each component is in the correct place; * Assemble mechanical parts; * Other duties as defined my management
