Location- Hybrid - typically M/W/F onsite in Lakewood Ranch, FL (will train onsite daily for 4-6 weeks)

Job Description:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, assist in developing and maintain budgets & forecasts, account analysis, posting month-end journal entries and account reconciliations. The successful candidate will also collect pertinent information for third party audits, and will be the first point of contact for accounting related issues.

  • Maintain weekly cash, metrics, and labor reporting
  • Monitor project costs and investigate variances to forecast
  • Assist with month end close process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis
  • Processing of accounting transactions with accuracy across multiple costs centers
  • Provide detailed analysis and explanations of all transactions
  • Coordinate documentation for external auditors
  • Maintain and update process and procedure documents for the department
  • Demonstrated ability to support other departments within the company and coordinate training and information sessions as needed
  • Assist with other projects as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

-Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance

-5+ years of accounting experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

-Proficient in Excel, MS Office, general computer skills and ERP experience.

-NetSuite experience is a plus.

-Must be able to prioritize deadlines and shift priorities in a changing environment.

-Must have knowledge of and be able to apply GAAP principles.
