JOB SUMMARY:
Medline's ReadyCare facility in Waukegan, IL has an immediate opening for Inventory Coordinator! The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all inventory adjustments, error queues, and other inventory issues researched and reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within a Medline distribution center.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and conduct and review cycle counts; slot checks.
- Performs physical inventory adjustments in SAP to correct errors.
- Manages all non-storage bin locations.
- Scrap order processing.
- Communicate with warehouse team members and other functional teams to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Operate MHE (material handling equipment) as necessary.
- Solution disposal of materials.
- Production/warehouse supply inventory management.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Education: - High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience: - 2+ years inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center or similar facility.
- Previous experience with SAP or equivalent enterprise and warehouse management systems required.
Additional: - Associate's degree preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must be a team player with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction, implement changes and adapt to changing business environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements: - Move product, supplies, and boxes up to and over 50 lbs.
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, hearing, visual acuity-near and far, depth perception, field of vision, color vision.
