Web/Mobile Tester
Columbus, OH (hybrid)
Join the Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) to support the Pricing and Promotions Coupon Hub project. Ensure seamless and consistent data flow for promotions and coupons across web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Create and validate orders on web and mobile applications.
- Ensure pricing, promotion, and coupon data flows correctly to integrated systems.
- Use standard software testing methodologies: test planning, scope identification, test case development, execution, and defect management.
- Provide daily updates and escalate issues as necessary.
- Communicate confidently with peers and IT leaders; deliver formal written communication as needed.
- Deliver assignments with high quality and attention to detail.
- Independently drive issues to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
- Apply systematic data analysis for decision-making.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of testing experience, preferably in retail and Omni Channel environments.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
- Experience working with multiple teams and integration across multiple applications.
- Proficiency with HP ALM for test and defect management.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with provided company equipment.
Key Skills: Web, mobile, and data validation experience.
