Job Details
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monday - Friday, some Saturday possible; 1:30pm - 10:00pm, hours may vary
- Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures.
- Report safety incidents to supervisor/management immediately.
- Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately.
- Read and understand formula sheets.
- Complete formula sheets with accurate and legible information.
- Operate the water meter, including adjusting temperature and dispense.
- Operate the flour scale, including requesting flour and discharging flour to correct bowl.
- Operate the mixers, including loading the bowl, operate timers, and oiling dough.
- Mix doughs accurately, including scaling ingredients, mixing the dough, and completing paperwork.
- Communicate with other Mixers, Production Supervisor, Foreman 2.
- Read and understand production schedule and playbooks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to push or pull approximately 200 pounds.
- Be able to stand for majority of shift.
- Be able to read/write English.
- Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
- Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred
