Our client has two main areas of operations, automation technologies and power technologies, serving customers in the power utilities, chemicals, oil and gas, and industrial process industries.
They are looking for Maintenance Technicians in Ormand Beach, Florida. The Maintenance Technician works under limited supervision and is knowledgeable in the repairs of industrial equipment including, but not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic, air logic and/or electrical systems. Candidates must possess basic troubleshooting skills for their related field and be well versed in accepted industry standards for repairing industrial equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Possess the ability to teach IMR 1 employees the basics in their related field of machine repair and troubleshooting techniques
- Use blueprints and schematics to make logical decisions for correct repair
- Work and communicate effectively with interacting department personnel and with service technicians over the phone
Requirements:
- Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate the ability to comprehend blueprints and schematics for purposes of decision making
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work in the US.
- Electric diagnostic skills, good mechanical skills necessary
- Candidates must own their own hand tools.
Base salary, $60 - $75K annually, plus overtime. Three shifts are available. They offer medical, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401k with match. There is a 5% shift differential for the 2nd and 3rd shift. 12 paid holidays. Earn 2 weeks of paid vacation first year. 5 days of sick leave.
