Position Title: Metal Fabricator
Wage: $20.99 - $22.32/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:30am 4:00pm
Now hiring skilled welders! We have 1st shift openings for welders in the heart of Grinnell, IA. This company offers a ton of room to grow and will train the right candidate!
Metal Fabricator Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance checks on machines
- Operate various pieces of equipment (Fly/Block Shear, Cybermation, Burner, Roll Machine, Break Machine, Offset Machine)
- Operate overhead crane
- Assemble round, oval and rectangular fittings
- Assist with insulating duct work
- Fabricate, cut and assemble light gauge metal
- Welding parts together as needed
- Handle various size/weight metal pipes
Requirements for Metal Fabricator:
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Able to lift 25lbs repeatedly (up to 30 times/hr.) and 75lbs occasionally (up to 12 times/hr.)
- Able to push/pull 50lbs of force repeated (up to 30 times/hr.) and 100lbs occasionally (up to 12 times/hr.)
- Able to squat, crouch or stoop frequently and occasionally kneel/crawl
