I am collaborating with a well-funded circular commerce startup to recruit a Senior Product Manager who will help drive the vision and execution of the overall product/platform during the company s next growth phase. This client aims to revolutionize the consumer shopping experience and transform how retail and eCommerce brands increase another revenue vertical, approach sustainability, the environment, and customer engagement.
Supported by leading venture capital firms on the West Coast, the company is innovating in the resale market by creating a seamless experience for customers and unlocking new growth opportunities for brands and retailers. The Senior Product Manager will report to a highly accomplished Chief Product Officer and play a key role in leading product innovation for a white-label solution. This solution empowers brands and retailers to adopt innovative approaches towards revenue generation, sustainability, resale, and enhancing the customer experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end product development process, from conceptualization to product launch.
- Drive product innovation and scalability across eCommerce store fronts, payment gateways and checkout systems
- Drive product innovation and scalability across 3PL operations, catalog, inventory management, warehouse management systems, fulfillment and analytics.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and operations teams to create a strong product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Develop innovative products and features that meet the needs of brand, retail, and 3PL partners.
- Understand market trends, conduct competitive analysis, assess customer needs, and identify innovation opportunities.
- Work closely with partners and potential customers to align their needs with the product roadmap.
- Lead new product initiatives and enhance features of existing capabilities.
- Own and manage product analytics, including monitoring product pipelines and revenue goals.
- Contribute to continuously improving the product development process, including best practices in product documentation and management.
Skills / Experience Needed:
- 5+ years of product management experience within the eCommerce, D2C, Marketplace, or SaaS-based vertical.
- Extensive knowledge of the operational side of eCommerce platforms, including catalog, inventory, order management, and partner integrations.
- Proven experience with warehouse management systems, supply chain operations, fulfillment solutions, and/or reverse logistics platforms.
- Proven expertise in scaling an eCommerce or SaaS platform/product for a startup business from inception through delivery.
- Prior startup experience, from Seed Round through Multiple phases of growth.
- Expertise with eCommerce storefront solutions.
- Previous experience managing complex digital products.
- Strong data and analytical background.
- Proficient in data analysis, using analytics to inform product decisions.
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
