Company Overview: Long standing, leading provider of HVAC systems and services, dedicated to delivering comfort, efficiency, and reliability to customers is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to grow and develop their Residential and Light Commercial division. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they serve residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout Illinois.

Position Overview: As an HVAC Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of residential and light commercial HVAC products and services by developing and maintaining relationships with customers, techs, and industry partners. You will leverage your expertise in HVAC systems to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, while exceeding sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Success looks like keeping 6-9 technicians busy and managing a $3M line of business.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and preferences.
  • Recommend appropriate HVAC products and services based on customer needs, budget, and specifications.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including installation technicians and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and regulatory requirements to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to expand your professional network and generate leads.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics to achieve sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in HVAC sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC industry certifications or training preferred but not required.
