Our client, In Theodore, Alabama is seeking a Fabrication Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication Technician, you will be part of the assembly team supporting the machine operators. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and have great time management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $15/hr
What s the Job?
- Accurately measure, record and add random pipe length; Cutting pipe according to specifications on orders with a band saw or torch; Rolling and grooving single and double random lengths of galvanized steel or black steel
- Observe vital safety precautions for fabrication includingcutting, fitting, assembling, stacking and shipping pipe for storage and transportation
- Following daily work orders to completion
- Prepare finished products for shipping; Operating industrial equipment according to OSHA guidelines and company safe operating procedures
What s Needed?
- 1-2 years of machine operating experience in a similar environment
- Must be able to read measurements and accurately cut pipes to specifications on work orders
- Monday-Friday; 6:00am-2:30pm
- Knowledge of basic shop math; Comfortable with reading a tape measure and operating tools necessary for assembly
- Ability to stand, lift, bend twist and pull for 8 hour shifts; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
