Responsibilities:
- Oversee all organization's payroll functions, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
- Develop and implement payroll processes to improve efficiencies and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with HRIS/System Administrator to enhance payroll systems and generate comprehensive reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of year-end W-2 reconciliation.
- Resolve escalated payroll inquiries and ensure seamless integration of new acquisitions into the payroll system.
- Manage payroll audits and ensure SOX compliance.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of payroll specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment.
- Bachelor s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work with minimal supervision.
