Overview:

JOB SUMMARY: Organizes and maintains inventory of spare parts and supplies to support plant maintenance, janitorial, and safety programs.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Organizes, monitors, and maintains inventory within MRO to ensure smooth operations. Including but not limited to relabeling and relocating of parts. Ensuring bins are cleaned and organized. Ensure parts and bins are labeled correctly. (80%)
  1. Performs quarterly cycle counts. (10%)
  1. Stocks inventory and non-inventory stock items. (10%)
  1. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
  1. Adheres to food safety, quality and legal compliance. In the event of a crisis (i.e. product recall, fire, etc.) delegate responsibilities as outlined in the Crisis Communications and Management Guide.
Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification:

Up to 18 months of post high school education from an accredited vocational, technical, or junior college

Experience:

0 to 2 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of (B/basic; J/journey; E/expert):

  • Inventory concepts and techniques (B)
  • Purchasing concepts and techniques (B)
  • Shipping and receiving (B)
  • Computer-based inventory control systems (B)

Skill and ability to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds
