SUMMARY:

As the Sample Clerk, you play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and customer support teams by creating and organizing samples of our products. Your responsibilities will revolve around preparing high-quality samples in various shapes and sizes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in bundling, and facilitating efficient distribution to sales representatives and customer support personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sample Creation:

  • Utilize the designated materials to craft samples reflecting our product range.
  • Follow specific instructions and guidelines to accurately replicate product specifications.
  • Use cutting and shaping tools to create samples in different shapes and sizes as required.


Quality Control:

  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards during the sample creation process.
  • Inspect finished samples for any defects, ensuring they meet our quality benchmarks.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve them.


Inventory Management:

  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials needed for sample creation and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Organize and manage the sample inventory efficiently, ensuring easy accessibility for sales and support teams.
  • Keep accurate records of sample usage and inventory movement.


Bundling and Packaging:

  • Assemble samples into cohesive bundles according to preset configurations.
  • Package samples securely to prevent damage during transportation or handling.
  • Label bundles accurately with product information and specifications.


Support for Sales and Customer Service:

  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and customer support staff to fulfill sample requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide assistance in selecting appropriate samples for specific customer inquiries or presentations.
  • Address any sample-related queries or concerns from internal teams or customers.


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in using cutting and shaping tools, as well as basic assembly techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory management and record-keeping purposes.


Working Conditions: This role primarily operates in a production or warehouse setting, where exposure to dust and noise may occur. Proper safety equipment and precautions will be provided. The position may require occasional lifting of moderately heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
