Universal Worker/Med Aide


Job Details

Provides a variety of services to assisted living residents that promote dignity and independence in a secure and safe environment. These services include:

  • Medication Administration (Medication Aide Certification Course provided by employer upon hire)
  • Assistance with personal cares such as dressing, showering, and other activities of daily living
  • Housekeeping and laundry services
  • Serving snacks and meals
  • Experience is a plus but not required - we will train you on site!


Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a Nurse Aide License and Medication Aide I License (after course completion) via the ND Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry
  • Able to do physical work which may including standing for long periods of time, bending, and pushing or pulling
  • Self-motivated and able to pay attention to details
  • Able to read, write, and understand English
  • Maintains a clean criminal background, sex offender, and child/adult protective service report
  • Kind, compassionate, and enjoys working with the elderly as part of a team to ensure each resident receive the highest quality of care
