Job Description:

Leadership and Culture:

  • Serve as the primary site leader, ensuring a positive and engaging work environment where team members feel valued, safe, and fulfilled.
  • Foster open communication channels throughout the organization, promoting transparency and teamwork.
  • Represent the site during customer visits and community engagements, showcasing our commitment to excellence and collaboration.
  • Liaise with local community partners and oversee facility maintenance and upkeep initiatives.
Manufacturing Operations:
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, overseeing production machinery, quality control processes, and packaging activities.
  • Manage a team responsible for assembling products, optimizing workflow, and maximizing workforce utilization.
  • Drive efficiency, timeliness, and quality in manufacturing processes to meet production targets and customer expectations.
  • Provide strategic direction to team members and make informed personnel decisions to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, including environmental, OSHA, and safety protocols.
  • Implement and uphold best practices for workplace safety, promoting a culture of responsibility and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree preferred, or minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of production management in the steel fabrication industry or equivalent including welding, large machine operations, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as MS Office Suite, Salesforce, Infor ERP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience operating mobile equipment and willingness to obtain necessary certifications.


Work Environment:

This is an office-based position with exposure to manufacturing facilities. The employee must adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements when in the manufacturing area.
