Join us for a rewarding career in the aviation industry!Job DescriptionOur Exterior Aircraft Cleaner is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of aircraft exteriors. This role involves using specialized cleaning agents and equipment to wash, wax, and polish the aircraft, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and safety standards. The cleaner must adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, working efficiently to minimize ground time while maintaining attention to detail. Additionally, you may be required to inspect the aircraft for any surface damage or wear during cleaning and report any findings to maintenance personnel, playing a crucial role in the overall upkeep and presentation of the aircraft fleet.WHAT IT S LIKE TO WORK AS AN EXTERIOR AIRCRAFT CLEANERYou like working as a team, toward a common goalWash and clean the exterior of aircrafts, including fuselage, wings, and tailUse specialized cleaning agents and equipment to remove dirt, grease, and stainsInspect the aircraft's exterior for any damage or maintenance issues and report findingsFollow all safety protocols while working at heights and around aircraftCoordinate with ground crew and maintenance staff for aircraft positioning and safetyComply with environmental regulations regarding the use and disposal of cleaning solvents and fluidsYou have a great attention to detailYou enjoy working with a team or individually to accomplish your tasksLike to build long term relationships with your customersPhysical activity may include:Stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 70 pounds or moreBe able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by terminal environmentClose vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); Depth Perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)QualificationsMinimum age of 18 years old1 Year of Customer Service1 Year of cleaning or maintenance experienceComfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tabletsAbility to pass a drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
