Job Description:
As a Web Design and Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding our clients through the website design process, from conceptualization to execution. You will be responsible for helping to create visually stunning and user-friendly website designs tailored to meet the unique needs and branding of each client. Additionally, you will be involved in front-end web development tasks as necessary to bring these designs to life. We are looking for someone with the ability to create stunning designs in Figma / Adobe Suite and can also bring designs to life in WordPress page builders like Elementor and Divi.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their objectives, target audience, and branding guidelines.
- Lead clients through the website design process, including wireframing, prototyping, and final design iterations.
- Create visually appealing and intuitive website designs that effectively communicate the client's message and enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with our marketing and development teams to ensure website designs align with overall marketing strategies and technical feasibility.
- Utilize industry best practices and emerging trends to stay at the forefront of website design and user interface design.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve website designs.
- Develop front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as needed to implement website designs and ensure compatibility across various browsers and devices in web builders like Elementor and Divi.
- Provide support and guidance to clients regarding website maintenance, updates, and optimization.
Requirements:
- Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in website design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and successful projects.
- Experience with content management systems, primarily WordPress.
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Solid understanding of front-end web development languages and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery).
- Ability to develop designs in WordPress using page builders like Elementor and Divi. Some experience on other platforms like Squarespace, Wix etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and technical details to clients and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
