A rapidly gorwing lending client is hiring for a head of data science and predictive analytics to help spearhead their data transformation initiatives. This role will lead a centralized team supporting multiple areas of the business working to drive automation and ultimately enhance the customer experience. Candidates are expected to have a proven track recrosd in the financial services and/or insurance sectors focsing on machine learning model development. The encumbenet willl also be working cross functionaly with other internal stakeholders and therefore must be an effective communicator.
Role Responsibilities:
- Foster an enviornment of research and development in an effort to identify new metholodologies and impact various areas of the business.
- Liasie with other teams executive to identify business solutions and provide appropriate solutions and raodmaps accordingly.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for analytics related to marketing, underwriting, fraud, credit, collections, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience developing predictive models, preferably within the leanding/ credit domain.
- 4+ years managing a team
- Proven track record using Python programming.
- Working with other internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancement and ultimately drive revenue for the buisness.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Master's degree or above in STEM field.
