Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
2. Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in operational equipment, utilizing multimeters, and other troubleshooting tools.
3. Expertly handle PLC programming and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless operation of automated systems.
4. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
5. Execute maintenance and repairs on injection mold and blow mold machinery, ensuring they are in excellent working condition.
6. Conduct regular inspections of the facility s electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
7. Ensure all electrical maintenance operations comply with state and federal regulations and safety standards.
8. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
9. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
10. Assist and train other maintenance and production personnel in the correct operation and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Tech, Master Electrician, or Electrical Journeyman in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience with PLC, injection mold, multimeter, hydraulics, pneumatics, blow mold, and preventative maintenance.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems.
4. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
7. Strong communication and training skills.
8. Certification or degree in electrical systems or related field is preferred.
9. Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
10. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
11. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
12. Willingness to work overtime and be on call for emergencies.
