As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, working on residential projects and bringing architectural blueprints to life.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall materials
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs- Repair and replace damaged or defective parts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion within given deadlines
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Utilize various hand and power tools to complete projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Skills:
- Proven experience in carpentry and construction
- Exceptional knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
