Requirements for consideration:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
- 6+ years relevant professional working experience demonstrating increased financial responsibility
- Must have strong Excel skills and knowledge
- Experienced with EAC or Estimates at Completion
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets
Other requirements:
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Demonstrated strong tenure throughout career history
- Experience in Aerospace industry highly preferred!
- This is a long-term contract based role. Must be comfortable working in a contract setting
Examples of Position Responsibilities:
- Work closely with accounting to ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant at all times
- Conduct data analysis using tools such as Python, Tableau, and Talend
- Continuously analyze and report on operational performance and actual performance compared to budgets and forecasts, providing analysis as needed
- Make recommendations to resolve or reduce risk and increase opportunities
- Oversees annual budget creation to meet business goals while accounting for known and assumed expenses
- Monitor actual expenses against budgets, evaluate differences, create trend and comparative analysis reports
